Just some highlights from the past few months...

August 25, 07 -

Have not been able to shoot trap for five months or so. Too busy. Leave for Rio Escondido Nicaragua in three weeks. Getting the fishing tackle ready.

July 20, 07 -

Left Vancouver for Whistler BC and will stay here for mountain bike races. Working on UNA revisions.

June 19, 07 -

Left Seattle to spend time on Orca Islands whale watching. Spotted dozen or more pods of killer whales off the coast. Need to revise and edit Under Nuclear Attack once again.

May 15, 07 -

On Mount Hood today in Oregon. Snow is wet, but still skiing and boarding in the morning. New Josh Parker novel is in progress.

March 2, 07 -

Returned from Nicaragua where I caught some nasty needlefish, good sized bonefish and a dozen huge snook with a wet fly wading off of Corn Island. I used Cousin Jerry's gear and then spent few weeks in Cali Columbia going through the old newspaper microfish only to learn that one of the South Florida drug dealers was buried in a Jewish cemetery on the outskirts of the city. At least that is what the obituary read, but I could not find any trace of a gravetstone or record of burial.

Feb 12, 07 -

Left for Nicaragua with cousin Gerry's fly rod and reel to fish on Rio Escondido with Randy Rumbles, then ten days in Cali Colombia, looking to solve the thirty year-old disappearance of two of the most notorious drug dealers in South Florida.

Jan 6, 07 -

Will Farren sent screenplay manuscript "Lost Gold" to producers for a studio read.

Dec 10, 06 -

Started last ten chapters (54-64) of Under Nuclear Attack and chose the design and the designer to build a web page. Novel is currently at 130,000 words. Into the chase scenes leading to the climax.

Nov 23, 06 -

Spoke with producer about two screenplay manuscripts, "My Mother's Son" and "Arnold Goodman, Einstein's Nemesis." Former is in rewrite, latter is going over to studio for notes.

Shot a perfect 25 score in first flight of trap shooting this morning.

Oct 12, 06 -

Climb in Ecuador for three weeks on Volcans Cotapaxi and Chimborazzo. Reached 18,600 feet. Failed to reach snow fields and did not summit either volcano. Returned to see pulmanologist.

Sept 18, 06 -

Left Santa Barbara and in San Diego for a three-week working vacation.

Aug 25, 06 -

Travel to Washington DC to meet with friends in Virginia.

July 4, 06 -

Camp in Maine for a week to see family and memorial to those who died in service and lost family members. Took Cousin Gerry's fly rod and reel to fish in the Rio Escondido for snook.

June 10, 06 -

This date marks my second anniversary of wrestling with the new novel, Under Nuclear Attack. Submitted another ten chapters for editing to Tim in NYC.
